I've never had a car with in-car sat-nav before (never actually had sat-nav but that's by the by).

Anyway, update DVD's appear to be annual and are £150 from the manufacturers own website - more than Tom Tom updates but I guess it's to be expected given the stupid mark-up on in-car sat-nav's.

My question is, I see on Google that there are various cheaper sources, some of which look to be legit. Usually if it looks too good to be true it is, but this is an area I know nothing about so for all I know someone OEMs the software the the car vendor just slaps their logo on the case and marks it up 300%.
