Thinking of a change...

Bought an 04 SLK 200 R171 in 2007 and p/ed it for an 05 SLK 350 this year. Really nice and fast but i feel that it is lacking in something. I need/desire and bit more excitement/road feel and handling and less of electronic wizardry.
So although i love my SLK 350 very much, the mind has started to wander and i have been browsing at other car options ranging from exchanging this for an E46 M3 cab to getting an old Mitsi Evo and making the SLK a weekend only car. A Caterham is far too impractical. Thought of a lotus Elise - but that is way too skimpy for my taste.
Then i was looking at some S2000s. They seem to be availiable at a modest cost and seem superchargeable if you need to and i may even have some money in the bank. What does the panel think? Dont really like the look of the 350z although that is pretty moddable too.
Any other options? Or shall i just pack it in and be happy with what i got?
