Bloody huge potholes and loads of them rolleyes

Some are the ones they have just completed filling in.

Cheap st tarmac akin to bubble gum does not make a good road repair.

More tax hikes I guess for overpriced contractors to come back and fill htme in again.

A few months ago I heard on R4 that each hole costs an average of £1k to repair.

I know, found out after driving through what felt like a crater coming back from Henley one evening.

Did the potholes ever disappear?
I may be trading the MX5 for something what will be more comfy on the "roads"

Taking to an A road here is like driving on a Dominican Republic back road.

Which country has the best road surfaces, in anyone's opinion?

I used to work in Switzerland and lived near Zurich, the roads were great there.

No filled holes, they re-surfaced the entire road and with much better tarmac too than they use here.

New Zealand's are pretty good, and that includes the gravel roads. But then they don't have anything like the amount of traffic we have here.

Going towards the Dartford tunnel from north - M25 road works are appalling. Literally jumping potholes.

Our area seems to have tidied up a bit though.
