Absolutely awful! Laughable! Reprehensible even!

If they have any sense at all they'll pull Episode 2 before it goes out, quietly pretend this never happened and do it before they do anymore damage is done to the brand.

This is even worse than the stupid message on their dashboards. It's cheap, cheesy and crass.

I used to really covet an Aston but increasingly as I've come to a point where, when I could actually afford to have one, I just feel like I don't want to anymore.

Trouble is, they'll now have to way up the cost of producing that tripe with running the rest of the series and the damage it will cause.

I look forward to laughing at Episode 2!

[p.s If I were in marketing for another car company (Kia for example!) I'd already be making a spoof of this]

Aston really should value its own brand and stop rolling out these cliched evocations of 007 and cars with names that sound like double agents. And isnt their brand suposed to be about performance, passion, Britishness? At this market level, how is a crook in a Hugo Boss suit aspirational?

Porsche launched the 3.8 GT3 with a video of Walter Rohrl driving it very fast, playing it like a musical instrument and talking with passion about the technology that gave him such a big smile. Porsche understands its brand.

IT's the finger clip in the drift that makes the film Star is up there with my fave films of all time. Bizarre to say I realise, but it's so fun, playful, well shot and just cool
