Mine went up to a dizzying £280. From £260. I was gutted. That's for two drivers.

My wifes SLK renewal appeared from AXA
from £240 last year to £540 this year! robbing bds
no claims nothing changed other than the car another year older.

I have searched since and got it to £246 with less Excess.

From the near misses and dangerous chaos of grey hairs I witness weekly, I hope their insurance goes up 300% annually.

I can believe that. The cheapest I could find this year is £725 which is almost identical to what I paid last year even though i've passed the 21 age barrier.

My sister was getting obscenly cheap quotes in Jan 2010 after she just turned 17; mini one around £950.
She has just passed her test and had to pay over £2k for her swift! eek

All my car insurances have gone down this year, but about £0 - £50 or so. No idea why though.

My insurance hasn't gone up, but they've just charged £15 to switch the policy to another car. Took him less than 30 seconds on his keyboard. "Admin" costs he says. I say I'll be chnaging insurer when renewal time comes.

Mine went up by £65 this year after two big (non-fault) claims and adding protected NCB to the policy this year. I say that's not too bad.
