I suspect it'll need the extra HP just to be as quick as a standard 500, seeing as it's gold and diamond encrusted.... getmecoat

In all fairness, it doesn't look nearly as bad as I thought.... I remember seeing a swarovski-encrusted Mercedes SL or some such that was much worse.

I am terrified by mere thought, that somewhere out there are people who will buy this.
Clearly human stupidity knows no bounds.

Nick a wheel, and smelt it or sell it and buy something proper!

Not interested in the gold and bling but the interior is brilliant. How long before many other cars have a screen like that? If i was FIAT I'd be copying a lot of that interior.

The iPad in dash has already been done a long time ago in the modification scene...

Would the owner need insurance?

1. Would you nick it given the amount of money available to said owner means they almost certainly have access to a red staff.

2. Any accident will be the other party's fault (for same reason).

3. It's probably a disposable item anyway and will be replaced with some alternative trinket within a year.

Although IMHO it takes someone with a very small conscience to spend money on things like that when theres still people living on the streets all over the world- i'm all for P4/5 recreations but this is stupid....
WHAT??? So you're saying that just because someone has bought a 'blinged' car that they have a very small conscience about people living on the streets?
How do you know that the person in general isn't a huge philantropist who gives millions of pounds away each year.
You probably are like the rest of the mobile phone population in the UK that has an Iphone or an Apple product of some sort but you probably wouldn't boycot them because CEO Steve Jobs doesn't give a single penny away to homeless people. And to be honest, why the hell should he, he's worked hard for that money.
I'm not having a rant at you in anyway, i just think it easy to prejudge people when you don't know anything about them.

You say that the P4/5 recreation is acceptable but yet just because the Fiat doesn't float your boat then that person must be a selfish prick.

Good on him for creating something that he likes, he didn't have to share those pictures (or whoever took them) with anyone else; but he did. And apart from the car not exactly being the nicest Fiat out there, it actually does have some interesting features on it like the ipad, the beautiful (albeit wrong colour) wheels and that extraordinary wood floor and dash.

Like i said though, this isn't a personal attack on you. It just pisses me off when people prejudge.

Rant over. Cheers

Hmm, seems your idea of "a long time ago" is very different to mine, since the iPad hasn't even been on sale a year yet?

Ah yes - Gold. Very heavy substance. Good choice of material for a car.
