A friend's mother had one, everything inside was in Japanese, so all the toys were useless. The steering rack broke, I think it's been in a shed ever since, this was prob 5 years ago.
There are translations for the touch screen (the switches are all in English)
How does that work then? You're driving along and something unusual pops up on the display so you grab your Japanese-English dictionary to work out whether engine death is imminent.
Most of the air suspension V8s have a touch screen to control audio, A/C, fuel consumption computer, calendar, etc. A lot of it is stuff you wouldn't be changing on the move.

Kind of O/T but whenever I see/hear of a Soarer it just reminds me of an epic troll who used to lurk around scoobynet claiming that his Soarer TT was the fastest thing since God invented light.

V8s are reliable but thirsty and hard to insure, the active suspension ones corner really well.

Very quiet and comfortable, steering is a bit dull but for the price its not too bad.

Nice cars.
