When I saw the side profile I thought Bahar had another creation going at Hethel with a modern interpretation of this:
Like it though, will never be able to afford one (lottery win excepted).
THE REAL trick would be if Ferrari could actually make a car as light and sanely dimensioned and nimble handling as that Lotus Elite; while passing crash tests. And you know they could if they wanted to. Instead we get a literal truck of car, an absolute highway beast that has no place on any drivers road let alone those anywhere near Modena. Enzo is most certainly flipping in his grave. This car is a beautifully engineered- if immaturely sized car for 1990, in 2011 this is an old tech joke. j Like it though, will never be able to afford one (lottery win excepted).

A new Ferrari! And to my eyes, like the 599, California Spyder and 458, it's not quite right. What happened to classicly beautiful cars?
Firstly, I like the side profile very much, and my favourite type of car is the 2+2 V8 or V12 Grand Tourer (even though to drive I much prefer a manual gearbox, for a big luxury coupe an auto is suitable).
However, the front lights, reminiscent of the 458, are not pretty at all, nor is the mish-mash edgy grille details when added to the swoopy arches et all. The back though I quite like.
On Ferrari in general, I think the last good looking Ferrari was the 430, particularly at the front, and the last genuinely pretty one was the 550/575 Maranello.

I imagine if it did have a Volvo badge it would be recieving a much cooler reception.

Yes, anything with Ferrari written on it gets everybody excited! Just see the length of this blog!
But there are some badly designed ones. This one is OK compared to most recent ones, but what a hideous inside!

Looks nice in profile and from the back but not so keen on the front. This one looks a bit clumsy from rear 3/4 too.
Shame Ferrari cant do pretty interiors. They are hideous. Even in the 550 Maranello. The interior is enough to put me off.
I prefer the inside of an E-type Jag, or... a Ferrari 250GTO 1964 dash!
But today's Ferraris, nooooooooooooo! Ghastly.

All the modern V12's lose a fortune in resale value, especially the 4 seaters, unlike the V8's which in percentage terms have always held their money really well.
The people who buy these new only buy them if they can really afford to lose a lot of money. Totally different customer to the people who buy V8's, and much fewer of them.

I don't like it... but I feel I have to wk over it because it's a Ferrari. It might grow but at first glance it looks like what happens if you melt a 458 and an Alfa Brera together then drive it at warp speed.
Actually, I've had a look again and I kinda do like it but it just doesn't look like a Ferrari to me.
