The Bentley Arnage has the same bodyshell as the Rolls Royce Silver Seraph.

The Silver Seraph has the same V12 engine as a BMW 750i while the Arnage uses the same unit as the E39 BMW 540i albeit tuned by Cosworth.

Some Bentleys look similar to Rolls Royces, Some old Astras look similar to Daewoos, some Mazdas look similar to Fords, some VAG keys look similar. Yawn....

Volkswagen still make petrol engines.

Really, they do.
Could've fooled me, the 1.4 Golf that Europcar forced upon me recently was just as boring as a TDI cry

Probably handled better though shootshoot

I don't see why he's even reading if it's that boring. Leave the thread and troll elsewhere.. Thanks.

Because, as I've already mentioned, the thread DOES have some weird and interesting stuff in it.
It's just a shame people are clogging it up with boring stuff.

Might not be interesting for you, but interesting for others?

By the looks of it.. People knew the Rover P5 had a hole for turn key start.. I didn't know that so found it interesting.

That one is an 8P post face lift, so is not the same generation of key as the others shown. Trust me I'm holding an A3 key at the moment (pre facelift 8P).

Didn't the Jaguar XJ220 share the rear lights with a Rover 200, and have the engine from a rally Metro?

eah, the Audi does this too. Rather cooler is if you hold the button down to lock, all the windows go up - so in summer I shall drive around with them all down, get out, and already be walking away as they all close for me smokin
Yeah, I never thought of that. I tried a Dukes of Hazard through the windows, but just ended up with footprints everywhere eekfrown
It's called "Global opening / closing" - the feature is there to save you switching the ignition on to close all the windows, and the facility to open them all in the summer to help get rid of the heat before the air con works effectively.

To say the Metro 6R4 engine was used i nthe Jag is somewhat tenuous - they were very different applications.

The carpets in a Brabus SLK 6.5 V8 were modelled on Rupert Bear's trousers. True fact.
