Matt black IMO would look a bit tacky on a 996. Have you had a browse about of what colours you like on it? I'm pretty sure vinyl companys can supply any colour

How about getting it wrapped in a colour close to Riviera blue?

ETA: Matte black only works on cars which have a lot straight lines/creases/folds. I've seen a matte black boxster before and it looked gash.

Personally, I think matte black is 3-4 years out of date. I think going for a colour you wouldnt want to paint the car, permenantly. Something vibrant like the blue above would look superb.

Agree with the ones above who put Riviera Blue - perhaps a matt blue would suit it? Sure the vinyl companies can photoshop something onto a picture of your car? Nope?

because a 996 is a cheaper car i don't think matt black or chrome etc would suit. only SLR's, Lambo murcie's etc can pull them off - a wrapped 996 will look tacky.

but, if you do it then porsche hell blau or riviera blue would suit me.

or, you could go white or some other retro porsche colour.

+1

(to OP : CF wraps often dont look good at all. Go for a solid normal colour, red, blue, orange, green, etc.)
