Mainly because of the Music and Richard Burton.

Thank God! For a moment there I thought I was in an alternate reality reading most of the above posts.

Personally, I like the ad - refreshing and funny.

Maybe I'm a simpleton but I like the Yank style adverts. They are straightforward without the crap that seems to be associated with ours.

This one is quite good:

Also my rubbish claim to fame is that I know the blokes sister. Clutching at straws there, I think!

They're not really adverts though? They're a combined total of 15 minutes long.

what about the Honda Impossible dream advert...(special world cup version so kind of topical)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6BTb5_8prI&fea...

and the COG...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ve4M4UsJQo&fea...

thought the live skydiving one was innovative too.

But this would serve as the best advert (were it not a feature/homage) for me. Ayrton Senna voice overs make it all the better. recommend watching through (with the volume turned up LOUD).

After living in the USA I noticed how much the adverts for the USA and UK markets differ. I thought the Camaro ad was quite good actually.

Since everybody seems to be throwing out links to their favourite ads, the BMW M5 road commercial is one of my faves, couldn't stop watching it before I bought the car!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVqcImKPJu4

But if you want gratuitous shots of women then look no further than the advert for the Nissan Pathfinder:

surprisingly I couldn't stop watching that before picking up my Pathfinder either...see...adverts do work.

I liked that one as well, now that the fastest four door is a Cadillac it will be interesting to see what they do with it.

British normal tv

British normal tv with a film

30 minutes and then a 3 minute ad break.

BBC

No ad breaks ever

Now all of the above is fine, apart from watching Formula1 where I think most people would say BBC and no ad breaks is top notch.

So what do the Americans have? They have their premier sporting occasion that is 4 quarters of 15 minutes that lasts

6 HOURS

due to add breaks.

Holy Fecking Moly.

In the UK people have a cup of tea every 15 minutes or 30 minutes. In the US of fecking A they don't drink tea so have to have a beer. So they have to have 336 beers during a Superbowl.

It's no wonder Budweisers taste of piss. They are piss, otherwise overweight americans would die of alcohol poisoning during the 336 ad breaks.

It's all completely fecked up of course.

Anyway, what were the advertising? F150? Sounds like a ste truck wanting to be the best Ferrari race car ever, ahem.

Andy
I would rather drink a Budweiser than listen to (or read) this mindless dribble.
