Just a 10 - didn't really have anywhere to put my left leg apart from on the clutch pedal, footrest was tiny.

Discounts on the Kia meant it was the only cóntender by the end anyway, but I liked the Panda too.
I'm a 10 too and have no issues. Weird. Maybe I'm just blind to its faults more! smile

Just a note. The space to the right and left of the rear number plate (between the rear lights and the plate) make brilliant spots for a nice 3.5" PH smiley.

Must admit it was a nice place to be in any other way - feels more spacious than other small cars because of the high roof.

Maybe the fact I walked out on one Fiat salesman because of his ridiculous attitude towards my part ex tainted my opinion a bit though rolleyes

I had a T plate one with the "bug-eye" headlights for the first couple of years after I graduated.

You could get a decent one for £700 now. Cost peanuts to run and nothing went wrong even when I abused it and slid off a road into a ditch...

(My fault, not the car's. Spent a tenner getting the tracking done and superglued the rubber headlight surrounds back in place. Paint wasn't even scratched!)

On the downside it has zero cool and steered more like a boat than a car. It wasn't at all fun, but I still miss the unpretentious workhorse.

EDIT: Fast forward 5 years and the money I didn't spend on the Toyota now gets spent on an Octavia vRS. Granted, it's no 911. But it's fun to have and I owe no finance on it.

Fantastic cars, I bought one 2.5 years ago to save a few quid and 40,000 miles later, with me servicing it and doing the basics its still going strong and its still worth about 75% of what I paid for it.

I have no intention of selling any time soon, but I am considering getting an MX-5 to keep it company, to be honest I can't see any reason to change.
