Did they have to make the show car in low reflectivity black? Makes it hard to pick out details on the photos... frown

Fingers crossed for the addition later in the model life of a TRD version and/or a supercharger kit as existed for the 7th gen Celica... smile Or just a GT-FOUR version... biggrin

I'm with you on that.

Pics are pretty flimsy. Emailed to PH were they?? Shall await some decent pics of it to then make up my mind.

Don't like the DLRs either. It's a pity they are now mandatory, as they just make the cars they adorn look camp and cheap.

It doesn't have to, manufacturers could just make them look like dipped beam headlights if they wanted to.

These are pretty decent but I totally agree on the black thing:

I think so, but don't think they have to be silly Audi style LED chain lights.

Somebody will be along soon to mention RX8's.

The rotary engine in the RX8 means it's not a economic ownership proposition.
Bingo. That's the reason I don't have one (and I have seriously considered it) as a daily driver. That and the fact the Owner's Club reckon that despite what Mazda will tell you, the engine needs its' rotor tips changing after about 4 years at a cost of £thousands. It's a shame they didn't make an equivalent model with a conventional petrol engine developing the same power.

Looks good, a bit fussy but good. Not really seen the original show cars pics, but I remember thinking it was a great combo... Grunty Boxer engine and RWD 2 seater!

Looks a little like the lexus super car thing. Not bad.

Dont like the idea of a n/a lump from subaru though. Theyve been far from good in the past.

1200kg and 200bhp is civic type r territory. Little quicker would be nice although rwd will make it a different car.

4 seater I hope! 2+2 at least.

It certainly isn't going to be a full four-seater if it looks like that. I'd guess on a rather small 2+2.

I really do fancy one of these. Hopefully the production version will be a bit more subtle as per the MK1 and that the price is under 25k. bounce

Hmmm, sports car by rote. Pointy nose? Tick! Stumpy rear end? Tick! Aggressive haunches? Tick!

A sports coupe as a kitchen appliance, will perfectly fill the niche. Marketing over styling. It'll probably be perfectly fine but I'm disappointed with what I can see.

Hard to comment, all I see is a black blob on wheels.
