Yes one from my insurance company. Either way my car has cover.

So not really laid up cover then ? i.e. No TP cover, just AD, Fire and Theft ?

Flux told could me that you could drive the car to an MOT on their laid up policy - so it does have limited road cover.

I had a long discussion with them about the trck car, and couldnt find a way around the tax/insurance thing.

They must have meant once you take it off laid up (or don't know what they are talking about). There is absolutely no such thing as "limited road cover". You either have RTA cover or you don't. And if you do it is unlimited.

what about others ? so does this mean that classic car owner can insure the car with lay up cover and at the same time does not have to sorn their car ?

if so, i see this as simpler way for classic car owner rather than have to tax .. detax .. retax .. bla bla bla
