i own one at present a fl 04 full leather loads of toys its my daily drive when im not using my rev3 mr2 gt-s ...the corolla is an excellent car i love the understated styling ,,,, if you know how to drive a performance car it can be fun ...handling i find it fine , build quality is excellent , reliabilty sailed through last 2 mots and it never misses a beat ....to finish i wouldnt think twice about recommending one...and contrary to what people think just as quick as ctr wink

Maybe i'm getting older, or have completly lost interest in day-to-day cars, but I'd personally welcome a softer sprung car with the state of the roads today.
Me too. Softer sprung cars make faster progress through potholes and over speed bumps!

It really amazes me how much hate these cars get, there brilliant, cheap to insure, very comfortable and practical and yet there rapid, ive beat standard clio 172's sat level with a type r, beat a modified audi a3 with 225 bhp beat a 227 bhp mondeo st, and suprizingly beat a Mercedes slk amg 1.8 which are rapid on statistics. I guess i must just have a good one yet its on 110k and i got beat by a decated corrolla t sport.
