Item on the news about how the Govt have prevented Hauliers from protesting or striking by taking away their ability to work. They do this by way of the CBT which says they have to be 'of good repute' to operate, striking or protesting will see it being removed. Strikers and Protesters from the last action were also harassed by various officials who went over their business, vehicles, tax returns etc.

V for Vendetta is here folks

I saw that too. Hopefully the people that instigated the "leaning" got lent on themselves when their expense claims were looked into.

There was a write up on this on the front page of this weeks Motor Transport. Next page in? A haulier who is well established in the industry has gone bust and partly blames fuel prices.

Useless fact for you. Everytime fuel goes up by 1p it cost DHL £5m.

Doe this mean that bankers who don't like the tax/regulatory regime and want to leave the country will be forced to stay and work?
