The Curious Tale of Benjamin Button: A man is a born as a very old man and ages backwards to being a baby. If you watch the film, it's like he's doing it in real time too.

Wow, sounds like alot of you don't quite grasp things like fleet insurance policies and what you can actually really can insure.

Ironically, with fleet policies, insuring is the easy part, it's getting the car you want which is a little more difficult.

I know plenty off kids (18-21) who roam around in their 911s, GTis, M3s, M6s etc.

I guess it bottles down to the "crowd" you "hang" out with relating to how often you see these things and how perfectly normal they are to you.

Ah, the issue with text chat. What's your take on the lambo buyer on ferrari section 'Rocco'?

No idea, don't frequent there. Might mosey over and have a nose though. I expect that section attracts more than its fair share of dreamers, but equally quickly are probably outed by the genuine folk.

Yeah, here is the thread. Few 'doubters': http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... , the quality of the English is similar to some on display here.

wasn't exactly a rag to riches parked next to daddies porsche and bentley. No doubt the RBS investment advice came from somewhere closer to home, but still, nice purchase.

Difficult one. From what I have seen of them, Lambos seem to have a particular appeal to the less than perfectly literate or erudite.

Perhaps something to do with lambo / gangster / dreamer connection.

Even ones with genuine owners.

After he saw it, he did say there was something iffy about the front driveshafts. Of a RWD Diablo...

Thing is, someone driving a Corsa VXR/Astra VXR doesn't strike me as someone who loves their cars. Doesn't really give off that petrolhead type image.
For want of a better word, just looks a bit "chav." Something youd see in maccies car park on a evening.

If it was me, id be thinking of something a bit more, upmarket? Or is that just be being a bit badge snobby?

"Mate" are you questioning Rocco you "MUPPET"

Quite possible the worst investment advice i have ever heard, almost to general to bear.

The one thing i do like about PH is uncovering these dreamers, much like the guy who posted the picture of his GTR, after asking for advice on buying a ferrari.
