I was wondering would you accept a little over £425 for this car? I think it's about right to cover the car, Hayes repair manuel and body filler. I'm not sure how much the paint cost, so I have not included this in the price.
P.S. As you are unsure about the milage I can confirm the car has 116 000 miles, not 16 000. It should be quite easy to know this when you bought it a month ago, but I understand these things can be hard to remember,

I guess we're all different but I go on things by principal, whether someone trys de-frauding for a small amount of money or a large amount of money, the intent is still the same.

You are right though, the seller is not telling everyone the truth, but he's probably used sufficient terms to be this side of the law. He's read the mileometer, and he's admitted it might not be genuine.

He hasn't told you the mileage, he has merely told you what it is showing on the clock.
