Does any one know if shell require personal guarantees for their fuel cards? Newly formed ltd company so im thinking yes. . . .

Before anyone says Google, I have tried that but the website isnt clear.

I don't know the details however they would have to offer you credit and as a newly formed company ie no companys house data to review etc it may well be payment on receipt of fuel ie get some company credit cards this will then build a history with shell so after a period of time of using that route you could request a credit facility with them plus after say 5/6 months you will know roughly the maximum credit that is currently required.

If you have just set up a comp anyone offering you credit is taking a big risk as in your co could fail after you receiving their goods and never paying them

Sounds like a good idea. Its for a friend. I can offer him a business credit card bit he has reservations about signing a personal guarantee . . . Which means I have reservations about giving him a card!

I told him fuel cards would probably be the same.
