I hate to admit it but so often these days i find myself respecting the engineering behind the car and reading about it with a serious expression on my face quietly nodding to myself at all the technical advancements INSTEAD of reading about it with goosebumps smiling to myself feeling excitied at the thought of one day driving one.

I find it incresingly difficult to get excited by modern Supercars and it's a sad admition frown

Great car Ferrari, not exciting. In my opinion of course.

Still, at least he's getting to test one - chances of Ferrari letting Chris Harris play with one.....?

Apparently evo weren't invited to the initial launch event, which considering Harry has laid down a sizeable deposit for an FF does seem a bit churlish.

The more I read about this car the more I like it.

I wasn't sure at first, but I think I 'get' it now.

Is it huge on the outside then? In pictures it looks similar to the norm ie 430/458 size but I can't see how that could fit so much stuff, even given the front engine.
It's a big car, absolutely, but the design manages to hide the proportions very well.

Bear in mind that I was seeing the car in isolation, indoors, under lighting. Chris-R is better placed to give the definitive answer having driven it on the road.

I can't understand why anyone would want to buy this rather than something like a 430 Scuderia and an RS6 / Range Rover
Because the car you drive to the mountains is the car you have in the mountains.

TdF Blue with tan for me please. smile

It's the same size on the outside as the 612 Scaglietti - except a few mm higher. Inside it's more like the Tardis. It felt pretty big on the mmountain passes, but fine everywhere else.

Looks like it's a hearse that's been shunted from the rear, an illegitimate offspring of a 1 series, Mito and 456. Enzo would turn in his grave. Maybe a darker colour would do it some favours. The days of beautiful Ferraris - think this:

or this...

or this...

...are long gone. RIP and let footballers buy them.

Some might consider the review of Harry's car a little more relevant wink

I have to agree, the 288 GTO is one of my all time favourites but the 250 GTO and 246 GT are no less than stunning either.

People used to go on about how the 612 wasn't a pretty car.

Next to this a 612 is gorgeous.

I really liek the 612, one of the most underrated Ferraris IMHO

Lord had a 550 which didn't get any reviews or group testing. What makes anyone think they'll review this one? j

I'm still in two minds about it, not over the top but a bit blandish i think.
And yes, i saw 612 not long ago myself - and liked it

Why not? Because I have eyes that work.

Would be interestrd in understanding why there were TWO cars. Could it be that one has been set up especially for snow. The other 'optimised' for road??

And no I'm not a Ferrari hater (I have one in the garage).

I've become so sceptical!
