RE: Driven: Ferrari FF
Discussion
I hate to admit it but so often these days i find myself respecting the engineering behind the car and reading about it with a serious expression on my face quietly nodding to myself at all the technical advancements INSTEAD of reading about it with goosebumps smiling to myself feeling excitied at the thought of one day driving one.
I find it incresingly difficult to get excited by modern Supercars and it's a sad admition
Great car Ferrari, not exciting. In my opinion of course.

Still, at least he's getting to test one - chances of Ferrari letting Chris Harris play with one.....?
Apparently evo weren't invited to the initial launch event, which considering Harry has laid down a sizeable deposit for an FF does seem a bit churlish.OwenK said:
Is it huge on the outside then? In pictures it looks similar to the norm ie 430/458 size but I can't see how that could fit so much stuff, even given the front engine.
It's a big car, absolutely, but the design manages to hide the proportions very well. Bear in mind that I was seeing the car in isolation, indoors, under lighting. Chris-R is better placed to give the definitive answer having driven it on the road.

It's the same size on the outside as the 612 Scaglietti - except a few mm higher. Inside it's more like the Tardis. It felt pretty big on the mmountain passes, but fine everywhere else.Bear in mind that I was seeing the car in isolation, indoors, under lighting. Looks like it's a hearse that's been shunted from the rear, an illegitimate offspring of a 1 series, Mito and 456. Enzo would turn in his grave. Maybe a darker colour would do it some favours. The days of beautiful Ferraris - think this:

...are long gone. RIP and let footballers buy them.

I have to agree, the 288 GTO is one of my all time favourites but the 250 GTO and 246 GT are no less than stunning either.or this...
