Just bought myself a Ferrari F355 [pics included]
Discussion
I am pleased you posted this. I have owned a Lamborghini Countach QV for a couple of weeks now and I'm finding a similar problem with performance, not to mention the quality of the fit and finish. My conclusion is that these are vintage cars now and to compare their performance to modern cars - even a hot hatch - is unfair. We have to just appreciate them for what they are.
I have overcome this problem.
I bought a Ferrari 355 and fitted a Toyota MR2 bodykit to disguise it's true potential. Then I realised I couldn't afford the running or service costs so fitted a Toyota twin-cam engine.
At that point, the wheels looked a little ostentatious so I fitted a set of Toyota wheels.
I now have a genuine Ferrari I can afford to run but find people are constantly slagging me off that the proportions of my MR2 are all wrong. Heathens!
