Well I don't know how the companies work out the risk/cost, but I just breezed through "Go Compare", and got quotes ranging from £165 pa with Swift Cover, to £926 pa with Choice Quote.

My current insurance is £215.

Big con job me thinks.

My Insurance is due for renewal on the 5th of May but haven't had anything through yet.

At work now so don't have exact figures but was £700 and something for the year gone so phoned up Adrian Flux earlier on my lunch and the nice chap advised it was sent yesterday so should arrive in the next day or 2 and let me know of the renewal of £627.

Seeing as everybody's insurance is going up I am pretty pleased.

Car is a 1999 Pug 106 GTI - my only issue is I turn 25 on the 21st of may so in 2 minds to cancel policy and see if it does come in cheaper when i turn 25 or get quotes based on me being 25 and if it does then try and haggle.
