Can't see the video at work but I guess it's some amazingly humorous scensoredt - I don't know what happened to the light TBH but that's the most reasonable explanation I can come up with - certainly didn't reverse into anything and there's no marks elsewhere on the car to suggest another vehicle hit it.

Wife has a 1.1 Picanto, I swear I'm going to get points driving it. Revvy little thing, don't brake for anything, will fit through any gap. Silly fun.

Put tape over the missing bit and coloured it in red with a marker so it looks less conspicuous to BiB hehe (it's a clear bulb behind red glass)

I can't imagine Kia is going to be too expensive for parts!

I doubt a scrappy will have any 2011 model cars in yet...
I'll give the dealer a call on Monday but these things cost a lot from dealers IME. smile
Bought from the dealer for £63 inc VAT - £3 more than eBay but no waiting in for couriers.

No idea why, but the full unit with bulb holders etc was £63 yet just the plastic lens was £94 ex vat.......

Don't take any shyte about running around in your little Picanto, there's nothing wrong with a cheap runabout now, to save money up for the V8 a bit further down the line! smile

£5.5k brand spanking with 7 years warranty? Fair play really, was thinking why not an Aygo/C1/107, but that'd only get you a 2 year old one of them. You could scrap it when the warranty runs out and it would still be a cheap car.

Surely a cheap PH run about is a Mk1 MX5. This is supposed to be an enthusiasts site.

I can't insure one without paying a stupid amount of money negating the point of a cheap runabout.......

Surely the cost of MX5 + Insurance is less than the cost of new Picanto + Insurance? Then when you factor in depreciation..... I could be wrong, but if I am then it's very odd.

See...

Sometimes, main dealers can surprise you! I know of a chap a couple of years who made a small fortune (tens of thousands) selling parts direct from Volvo dealers on eBay for ~50% profit. People assume dealers will be expensive and turn to eBay for "cheap" parts.

I recently bought a new keyfob for my Peugeot - eBay came to £30ish, I found a Peugeot main dealer who posted it to me for £6.
