Not much wrong with it tbh. Maybe a few more pics? I think the price is reasonable enough. How about listing the mileages of all the services. Might grab someones attention a bit more.

Cut the advert down. Do they need to know that you've fixed things on the car? They're fixed, therefore not an issue - if it was a wear item it would be different.

Maybe take away the "must go by date", the crafty may wait and see if it doesn't sell, then hit you when they know you are desperate.

Try listing it in the Boring stuff/Shopping cars section aswell, Ive sold a few similar value cars from that section in the past, but had hardly any interest from the specific make category.

That should do it.

Remove "must go" sentence - you sound (almost) desperate

Its harder to value a car like this because you won't have a big list of similar cars sold to compare with and establish a market value. On older cars the condition tends to be more important than the milage (as long as the miles aren't through the roof) and indeed very low miles can be offputting because it means the car has done all low milage journeys.

Looking at completed listings on ebay, 2 Felicia's that are y2000 petrol sold in the last month, one for £350 and one for £392. Another dozen with higher start prices didn't sell. My guess is that £1000 is too much, but of course its all down to what someone will pay and if you wait long enough the right buyer might come along.

1.6 = higher tax bracket maybe isn't helping.

Put it on autotrader.

I've always found I never get a single call for the 'everyday cars' i've advertised on PH, they normally sell a few days after advertising on AT.

Looks like a good advert imo, shame I dont need a second car/know someone that does as it sounds ideal! patience might be all that is required now frown

Try gumtree too, tends to be quite good for cheaper cars.

A definite +1 for more photos - that's the main thing in adverts of this sort, nobody bothers to take many decent photos, so if you do you will really stand out and get people's attention. Particularly as the car does look to be in great nick! £995 should help too.

Good luck smile

Shame on the location as I have a mate looking for a new car, and is currently looking at <£2k Daewoo Lacetti, against my advice I might add. That Skoda would be a better choice in my opinion- the advert looks good now, perhaps 1 or 2 more pictures.
