my wife made a confession to me last night - gutted....
Discussion
My wife says the same about my V8, but loves the Shogun.
The Shogun is, of course, much slower on the road, and has air-sprung front seats similar to a coach driver's seat. Add to that the fact that I don't bother flooring it because it's not going to be quick anyway, and she gets an altogether more relaxed ride.
I still have the V8, and I also have a toy that I can bury bonnet deep in mud when I feel like it.
This, I would suggest, is the answer for the OP. He keeps his Clio, his wife is happy, and he has a whole new motorised way to have fun. What's not to like?

If she feels sick she feels sick - the OP is hardly being under the thumb for taking her feelings into consideration (besides, he doesn't want vomit inside the car ).
A similar thing happened to my wife where my driving style changed in more sporty cars. It wasn't the car per se, so maybe the OP should try driving in a smooth, relaxed manner in the Clio and see how that goes before thinking of selling it.
