Merc C class Coupe- reliability?

Rust. Looked at a few C220CDI Coupes for the missus and all had various levels of paint blistering or had been painted.

Sorry for not helping you more, but all I can tell you is that when I mate had one as a company car, it protected him rather well in a motorway pile up he was involved in. Car was a total wreck with both front and rear impacts, but passenger area remained in good shape and he walked away without a scratch.

Totally depends on the year. Rule of thumb that I follow is avoid anything 1996 to 2006. Electrical faults are the major one along with rust. Mercedes were going through a bad patch then.

I've had two C200k's, both of which were pretty much faultless.
