Has anyone bought a car from an ebay dealer??

Hi i was wondering if anyone has bought a car from an ebay dealer and how did the procedure go? And whether its better to just go down to the local dealers?

I've never bought from a ebay dealer, but why are their adverts always so crap compared to the average private ebay seller? the least they could do is write a couple of paragraphs about the car rather than one or two lines!

No but there are a few on there who make a decent attempt at adverts. IIRC one guy posts a couple of videos, think he specialises in old Landrovers and more unusual stuff

It actually a pretty good idea to get the average joe interested in buying your car, even though it doesn't really prove the car is any good.

Aye that's him. Found his videos originally on Ebay a little while back when I was hunting for a v8 110. I find them strangely watchable and he is usually up there if you search for Series 3 Landrover on Youtube.
