Focus bonnet release, where is it?
Discussion
I hear Ford are supplying these wonderful things called "Owners Manuals". They give you one free with every car, and if you happen to lose it, you can even download a digital copy off their web site.
I also hear an upstart company in America called "Google" is going to start this web site, where you type in common questions and the answers are brought up instantly on your computer screen.
Whatever will they think of next? A phone you can carry around, that doesn't need wires?

I hear there's a forum called Pistonheads (??), made up of car enthusiasts and smug aholes, where you can ask car related questions and (usually) receive helpful answers.I also hear an upstart company in America called "Google" is going to start this web site, where you type in common questions and the answers are brought up instantly on your computer screen.

OP, who do you think you are?
You think you can walz into this motoring forum and ask car-related questions?!
Get with the program please.
On a serious note, when I got my Mundano I thought it was a bit daft not just having the usual release lever inside the cabin and it took me a few minutes to find so don't let the piss taking get to you!

I think they are all the same now.
The family Mundeo is.
Fiesta still has a conventional release handle inside the car. It isn't located where you think it would be though, but I am not saying as I am waiting for the "Fiesta bonnet release, where is it?" thread to reveal it.The family Mundeo is.

Must be a game that the Ford engineers play - hide the bonnet release catch; I had a Ka as a hire car when they first came out and struggled to find the catch. It is actually the lever on the underside of the steering column that looks like a steering column height adjust lever....monthefish said:

Do agree that if you aren't used to Ford's system (my last Ford was a Cortina.....) it does cause some headscratching before you plough through the handbook - or pluck up the courage to post on PH. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
