RE: Pic Of The Week: Ferrari 250 GTO
Discussion
Rarity and value to one side it is one of the prettiest cars ever produced. There really is something about these cars produced in the sixties, E Type, DB4 Zagato, mmmmm
I consider myself very fortunate to have been given a few passenger laps in a 250 GTO that was owned and driven by Steven Pilkington around Aintree circuit, albeit some 16 years ago it's a ride i'll never forget, oh the noise and atmosphere of that car.

Car and photo destroyed by useless HDR... Such a shame.
I third that. Disgusting overuse of HDR, bystanders, reflections,...How succesful for you think a non-petrolhead would be at choosing a Sportscar of the Week?
Also here are some closeup pics of Wang's GTO taken this month at Tour Auto 2011. Its great to see one of these cars being used!

Quite pathetic behaviour going on in this thread. I'd rather have a POTW that's from an actual PHer, and not some manufacturer's press photo which has 'disgustingly overused' various editing and processing techniques.
I think you left a smiley off at the end of your post, like this If not, look up the definition of "irony".Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
