Mazda 6: What items are replaced during a service?

One other point, buying the parts and then getting a garage to fit them may not save you any money.
And any problems down the line resulting from the service are going to be blamed on the parts you
provided.
What you say is certainly true in some cases but I've heard that Mazda parts from the dealer are notoriously expensive for what they are. I've sourced most parts from Eurocarparts at a very decent price. My local independant will be doing the work at "mates rates" for me since the owner is a friend of a friend - hence the saving I will be making overall. And any problems down the line resulting from the service are going to be blamed on the parts you

Had it been my Golf that was getting serviced then I'd be using genuine parts and getting the dealer to supply and fit them. But for the 6, since its only a daily hack worth circa £4K I'm hoenstly not all that bothered about "problems down the line".
