Compensation culture vultures! Always trying to shift blame onto someone's else shoulders when they're at fault themselves.

I fell over a little black one once.

My fault, but they could have made it a little more visible. Or the bartender could have stopped poring me drinks.

For fks sake!

Hit a stationary object? Of course it's not your fault. Here, have some money as a reward for being a complete fat bloody idiot.

Maybe not a diverse comment, but frankly, fk diversity in this case.

This (almost) defies belief.

Perhaps the driver couldn't see the bollard from inside the car, but perhaps she should have noticed it when GETTING IN and GETTING OUT of the car.

Dozy.

What a stupid self-absorbed tart. Legal action for a bollard?! As others have said, what if it had been a kid etc. Sainsbury's ought to do an Arkell v Pressdram on this one.

'claiming the offending post is a hazard as it could not been seen from the driver’s seat'

Didn't the stupid cow notice the bollards:

A) On parking.
B) On returning to the car.

Utter mong, although in fairness it seems to be orchestrated by her cretin husband.

Hope sainsburys sue her for the cost of damaging their bollard.

"Can't be seen from the driver seat"

So...does that mean that if I drive in to a kerb and damage my alloy, it's not my fault? The council should pay for it to be fixed?

I don't get it.

The bollard was to the SIDE of the car as she reversed out of a space and her front wheel hit it. How does that work?

Might be more to this than meets the eye.

Tbh I know where she's coming from, parking is very difficult when you're a bit on the large side.

Aint that right Tyrone?

Ffs what is this bloody country coming too?! Blaming a sainsburys bollard because the fat bint can't drive properly!! This is beyond belief. I too hope this case gets thrown out by sainsburys - what a ridiculous piece of ' journalism'

I bksed my CLK cab to the tune of £3500 worth of repair because I hit a bollard in the local Asda - it's just not tall enough to be seen in the passenger window so when I turned left out of the parking space, bang and scrape...

Now I could have sued Asda for having bollards which can't be seen from my car but actually, it was my own fault for not thinking and so I pay the price - a raised premium for the next 3 years.
