Stunning car!

It should be illegal to drive one with a popped collar, or actually, it should be illegal to be 40+ years old and even considering popping the collar...

This is a truly breathtaking vehicle. Almost to the point of being obscene.

However, one little issue :
"let alone one that weighs a mere 1575kg dry"

That things weighs 40kg more than my A6! Guess they need to keep the weight up for the inevitable superleggera .....
Its 75 Kg's down on the Murci

Not interested in any of this..... why was the NOISE not recorded for us, thats all we want, proper pant-wettingly noisy Lambo's a full chat, off to You-tube to fill the need :-)

690bhp, marvellous.... but why not 700? If you've gone so close why not grab an extra headline or two?

Great review Sutter's...you jammy get. hehe

I agree with whoever sadi it earlier, we take these figures for granted now. 690bhp and 500+lb/ft is just insane for a production road car. 2.9 seconds to sixty, so in 3 and a bit seconds, you should brake as you've hit the speed limit.... wink

I love it an' all, and we're all the better for it but still...this is superbike quick.

Got to be room for the SV version - bigger bragging-rights impact if it starts with a different number to the standard, so 6xx to 7xx.

Why is a raised collar now known as 'popped'?

I don't follow this particular collar trend myself, but popped? Tell me more.

The look doesn't go with mustard coloured trousers so probably best you walk away from this one.

Ah, is it a little more 'street' than I'm used to?

Perfect, unreal, monster, godly... none of those words can truly sum up what that car does to me when I see pictures of it. Truly one of the most jaw-dropping cars to ever come out of the Lamborghini factory, and quite possibly one of the most jaw-dropping cars to ever roll out of ANY factory.

I think it maybe an Americanism.

Everytime Lambo bring out a new car i always think it is the best thing i have ever seen, they just are my favorite manufacturer, simple as that.

And when you flick the right paddle at full throttle and there’s a huge thump from behind as the next gear goes in...
This, a thousand times this, makes me prefer this car over any dual clutch equipped supercar. I want a supercar to be visceral and violent, not supersmooth and precise. I want a thump in the back when the next gear engages, not a seamless wave of acceleration. Well done Lambo, well done.

Not that I'll ever be in the position to own one of these and probably won't ever drive one
Having driven a Gallardo with such a flappy paddle box (for all of 8 minutes mind), I agree wholeheartedly. It's an amazing sensation and I can only imagine how much more intense it must be in this thing.

Still think the back looks like someone reversed it into a fence.

Gorgeous thing, but I still think the LP640 is the better looker.
