Garlicks LS400 got me thinking as he mentioned LPG, always seems a bit of a no brainer on a thirsty barge that does some miles but I hate seeing some scabby looking plastic filler cap stuck somewhere on the bodywork, spoils the originality, just looks terrible, especially on something like that, it shouts cheapskate as much as a diesel badge biggrin

You can have it positioned under the rear bumper or somewhere that doesn't require the bodywork being hacked at. This is much neater and means if you sell the car but want to keep the LPG system, you don't have to cover up holes in the bodywork.

That's where I have it on my FFRR Supercharged, you'd have to know where to look for it, otherwise you'd never know it's LPG converted, apart from the switch inside with the LPG level leds.

On my LS it's mounted under the rear bumper:

That position can, however, be a pain when filling with certain types of dispenser. The barrel-type dispensers are fine, but the other ones with the handle you pull back can sometimes have a huge plastic shield to guard against LPG blasting out the line as you disengage, and that shield can be a real nuisance.
