Shouldn’t work, but a GT3, on Cup2’s on a wet Nordschleife was utterly absorbing and compelling. Takes living in the moment to another dimension.

Took 2hrs in the Pistenklause to decompress that evening.

Some pictures when I first flew over and did the deal

Funny how 'cheap' these were back then! I bought a black 964 rscs from Richard Green for £32k with about 25k klms!

I was there too, but I left my GT3 at home and used a Rent4Ring Mini instead. You sir are far braver than I am !!
What a day though. Really quiet circuit due to the weather, but no closures all day. It was one of the best trips to the Ring i've had.

That's you trying to reduce front tyre wear.

He's reducing rear wear too by keeping the back axle pointing in the direction of travel. I think this is what's called a teachable moment in modern parlance.

It's one of the few times I left the TC on during a track day. All day in fact. biggrin

It was interesting to contrast the cars at the dry Circuit Days Spa track day and then the wet 'Ring day. Almost no 991 or 992 GT or RS cars present. I was speaking to a few guys who'd booked to do the same as me, but none arrived at circuit.

What a breath of fresh air this thread is, I thought GT3's might just be for those who don't actually own one but want to talk endlessly about the price of them...

Collected this on 29th August. Pic was taken at the top of Col du Galibier on 5th September.

Am I doing this wrong? biglaugh
