I don't know quite how much it might help with black, but have you thought of talking to a decent detailer about ceramic coating?

I loathe cleaning cars but find that, if nothing else, ceramic coating makes the process a bit faster and easier. Both mine and Mrs Digga's last couple of cars have had it done.

Couldn't agree more. Especially the wheels, so easy to clean now after a hard day on track - ceramic coating worth every penny.

Max's car is GT silver I'm reasonably sure. Afaik the only other polar (from factory anyway) car is in the US.

That is about the best track photograph angle ever ......... none of my car .... but silver looks great ..here at Le Mans in my Silver car ....
