Nice. Saw that on your Insta feed; what's going on with the BBS's then?

Beautiful. In truth, my first choice would have been a silver one. Lovely.

Had some stone chips done, so PPF and ceramic coating was also fettled.

All is well. I like the pure look as well - as the makers intended. Just for a change.

Full track spec will be back next month driving

Splendid!

Anyone on here doing either the Silverstone Classic or the PCGB "320" thing?

I'll be popping down to the classic on Sunday.

Looking forward to it as always.

I'm there Saturday. Missed out on the PCGB infield parking, but have bagged a space with Pistonheads, next to the Pie & Piston (diner) in the National paddock.

Shame we're not there on the same day, I was hoping to arrange a swap! biggrin

That said, It's taken a while, but silver is finally creeping into my affections a little.

Love white though.

Hope you have a brilliant day. beer

Thanks Digga! Just had a £5k suspension refresh but stone chips and wheel refurb are next on the list!

Some stunning GT's throughout the thread.

Picked my GT3 up a couple of weeks back & loving it!! I was undecided between GT3 or Turbo S until I test drove the GT3, the sound is amazing :-)

A few photos taken today.

I'm there Saturday and Sunday. Will be taking a 992 round the PEC track Saturday morning. Will pop by and say hello or maybe we'll see you in the PCGB marquee?

Just got my new membership card through, so yes could do. Bringing Digga senior with me, so he'll probably appreciate a sit down at some point!

Yes. It was one of the conditions of purchase, and they were happy to oblige....

This was prior to ride height adjustment/corner weighting.

I must say, I think both black and silver wheels, like Baylon's car suit a silver 997 GT3. As I am more inclined toward driving than washing cars, I tend to favour black.

If I ever got my wheels re-finished though, I might be tempted by the very dark, satin grey. I think Porsche call it Platinum: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Platinum would be great at masking brake dust. If I leave it long enough between washes I'm sure the wheels would eventually be that colour. I wanted a wheel colour that was originally available when the car was new, and like wheels to contrast with the bodywork (dark wheels on a light car, light wheels on a dark car) so my choice was black, or the two-tone black&silver. I still spent months deliberating!

The great thing is that it's relatively inexpensive, quick and simple to change should the mood take you.

Yes bringing Brown senior too! Recently got him back into the Porsche world, he's just bought a nice 981 Cayman. We can often be found in or around the PCGB marquee, they serve very good coffee!

Good call. I have to remember the old man is in his 70's now, so I can expect him to keep at my pace all day! We work together most days, which means we can sort of forget to organise any fun boy's days out. He's a petrolhead too, allbiet a serial Jaguar customer.

ETA do you know yet which Car Club Area the PCGB marquee will be? PH is, I think, Area 4.
