Good call. I have to remember the old man is in his 70's now, so I can expect him to keep at my pace all day! We work together most days, which means we can sort of forget to organise any fun boy's days out. He's a petrolhead too, allbiet a serial Jaguar customer.
ETA do you know yet which Car Club Area the PCGB marquee will be? PH is, I think, Area 4.
Guessing its the same as previous years along the Wellington straight complete with own grandstand. I should hopefully be parked nearby as I'm zone 7 or 9ETA do you know yet which Car Club Area the PCGB marquee will be? PH is, I think, Area 4.

Ah, just looked at your link. Looks like the stand and therefore marquee might be the opposite side this year. Yet again a trek from my car. Last year we were parked miles away because I brought the GT3 so decided to bring my old Carrera this time

4-way?! That's more than my German 4-wheeler has!High & Low Speed rebound.
There is also adjustable air pressure (spring rate) too.
And yes, they all really do have an effect but, like a car shock, there is a sweet spot for all of the settings, so although each has a wide range of potential settings, you are generally choosing from a handful on each parameter.
Just short of £500 for the rear shock.

Hmm..I wonder if it can handle a 180N/mm spring High & Low Speed rebound.

Also, for repeated hits, air degrades over coil springs due to heat loss. On a bike, you are seldom descending flat-out for more than a few minutes at a time.
