Superb.

Dare I say it’s even nicer than Riviera Blue 997 RS.

So you sold your black one and bought a yellow one?
Technically speaking, black to yellow is a great move smile
Or yellow and black....

It got pictured quite a lot on Friday night - broken down on a busy roundabout with the locals thinking it was hilarious. A new battery later, it managed to make it all the way to JZM without any more fun being poked. It’s not used to such long journeys.

Oh dear! Never mind.

Out of interest, do you leave it on charge when not in use? Mine's always connected to a CTEK in the garage and I'd hope this extended battery life, but do know that for sure. Never certain whether precautionary new battery is wise after a few years.

Yes always on a charger. But not driven for a while and the original Porsche battery just gave up the ghost. Had to jump start it, but didn’t bank on it giving up halfway on the short journey home - on the busiest road around...

Drat! They aren't the biggest of batteries. Did you put genuine back on?

Not that I would have anyway, but had to do with a “eurocarparts in stock on a Saturday morning” one. Exide from memory as I’ve had too many Bosch ones fail on me.

Worth knowing. Thank you. I've heard talk of lighter weight, non-OEM ones too. I might have a look into that and swap as a precaution.

Mrs Digga has known me since the days when my cars routinely needed bump starting, but I doubt whether she would see the funny side of having to do it again these days. hehe
