I have always loved the look of the 997 Sports Classic but Primer grey is a little dull and the price is a little rich for me ! Would like to source a Guards 997 and fit the Sports Classic front and rear Spoilers and 19" Fuch wheels. I think the roof bulges although nice would add too much to the project
Please can you knowledgeable folk help me with the questions below

What 997 base car body do I need
Where can I source the body kit from. I suspect OEM will be prohibitively expensive so good quality aftermarket would be fine

Any information gratefully received
Thanks

From memory I think you need to look at a GTS which is essentially a Sport Classic without the bodykit and internal loveliness. The double bubble roof will very hard to replicate I would have thought.

RPM T do a good carbon ducktail which will give a lot of the look for not much outlay. Am close to getting on for my GTS4!

Thanks for the information Slodge. I think the Sports Classic is a wide bodied 997 the same as the 2S and 4S not totally sure though

Hi dude

Sport Classic is a rear wheel drive wide bodied car which I believe you can only get as a GTS. Sport classic also had the Powerkit raising bhp to 408 same as GTS. Check me out with my Porsche geek stats!

Great looking cars but agree price is off putting. GTS is best daily pork I have had. The extra you pay is worth it IMO. With a ducktail it would look sublime.

Good luck.

Cheers
