That's a much longer journey from Edinburgh - I think you'll be half way there by the time you get near us in sarf london!

Clearly I'd suggest taking the RS although as we were driving around in the snow this time last year the M3 might be a better optioin?

Pocty is there any chance you could post some close up pics of your wheels or pm them to me?

I had mine off a couple of weeks ago to fit cups and the laquer on the inside of all my wheels are coming off and starting to corrode, although the outside surface isnt affected. I'm tempted to only refurb the inner and leave the face original as i hear mixed stories on the success of refurbishing these.

Can anyone else share their experiences?

And yes it was snowing last year at the ring and spa but surprisingly alot of grip still on track, even though it didnt feel right driving around with snow covering the side of the track!

Also please don't post about the value of these cars, it just makes me drive even slower than slow pace that i currently do smile 130k seriously!

M3 us a full-on race machine so towing is the only option - indeed it was snowing at Spa when I was there this time last year :-S

Mail me off line and I'll speak to Chris the bloke who did my wheels. These wheels are tricky to refurb as you need to mask off the area so that it can be sprayed blue or red. I'll email some pics that I took with my iPhone but the car is still in the garage having the front bumper sprayed.

The bodyshop I use ( www.sprcoachworks.co.uk ) have done quite a few set of these, other than the time involved in masking them properly I don't think they're all that bad

Hi Guys first picture post for me so I hope you can all see them. These we're taken of the process and a few of the final finished wheel. I'm very happy with the result now compared to how they looked after a few years of weathering.

Link doesnt work, do you have a telephone number?

Take it the last pics are after refurb? if so they have done a superb job. When i have asked people in the past they have struggled with the shiny finish!
