Anyone have any experience of Amari Cars (Preston) for service. I am looking to get my 996 4s in and they seem quite reasonable?
What oil is best, mobil 1 seems to be the usual but I have heard Millers is more suitable?

No personal experience of their workshop service but consider also Hartech in Bolton and Jasmine on the M65 outside Colne. Both pretty close to Preston and known specialists with strong reputations.

Also dont get scared by using your local Porsche main dealer, was very surprised to find out they are actually cheaper than Hartech believe it or not.

For my 911 996, 3.6 C2 a,

Minor is 265

Major 395

And if you have Porsche GB owners club membership you get an extra 10% off.

Millers Nanodrive is very highly rated, especially if you're considering the odd track day. Hartech specify it as a condition of warranty on their rebuilt engines.
