It's the cheapest one I've seen in a while. Does the £90k include all fees. It was not so long ago though that these were selling for £55K.

Still a relative bargain IMHO and sadly a sign of the times, but bad news for the seller is good for the buyer and if cars are cheaper, they will probably be more likely to venture onto the track. Which is definitely a 'good thing'.

This is the third car to sell for high 80s / low 90s at auction over the last couple of years.

I would say the buyer and both have done well considering the times we are in.

Looked a nice car

More to do with 60k miles than the times we are in.

56k miles on the CC, interestingly this one in the link below is up for 25k more and very similar miles.

https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/10969078

Clearly buyers in today market don’t value these as high price wise, otherwise the CC would of sold for far more than 90k.

Thinking about it Ashgood sold one with 70k on the clock recently for high 70s.

Or could it be the case these cars are very mileage sensitive?

Either way the buyer and seller did well, looked a lovely car.

Congratulations to the buyer, hopefully they will appear on here.

Or you can pay £160k with less miles, from our well know seller.

So 47k miles is going cost you £70k in terms
of value on a 996 gt3 rs if you use it as designed.

Did the seller really do well though? From the advert he bought it in 2019, which was just about at the height of the market.

That ‘press car’ has been for sale on and off for almost three years now.

Are the rs's really £30k + better than the cooking gt3?

I guess it all depends on if puts a price on smiles per miles, know idea what he paid for it mind.

I guess only a owner of both can confirm this.

This, people say is it £xxx better all the time on every model.

Is a 964RS £150k better than a 964c2s as an example.
Some cars can be >£300k different in one model.

No it’s not £150k better, but that’s the price of the car.

Seller did 300-odd miles; unless bought it real cheap last year then not many 'smiles' there!

T oo true. I assume money no object, people would always plump for the rs?

Not many miles then, he was clearly happy as it got to his and collecting cars reserve price.

Money no object, I would plump for a comfort spec mark 2 (with buckets) for the road and a Cup car for the track.

Also it's easy to build a near Cup spec car from a mk2 comfort. The 30k+ mark up for an RS is a bit mad, in my very personal opinion. (I still love the RS though!)
