Agree sad to see it in a car auction.
Could not be faulted on condition or maintenance history.
For me it never really felt as connected as my first GT3 Mk1
As you would have seen with the really expensive wheel alignment bill.
Hope you find a car more compliant for your comfort.

So the upcoming Silverstone Auction on the 15th Oct looks interesting. It could well be the real test of 996 GT3 prices.
Yes there are loads in the classifieds at £60-100k, but not many are selling.
Three in this auction:
2 x MKI at £55-65k reserve
1 x MKII at £60-65k. Interestingly this is the Manthey modified SY one that has been for sale at Border Reviers for around a year now at £68k sticker price - they have clearly decided to cut their losses and shift it on, which is interesting in itself.
For a bit of fun who wants to start the book off in terms of what we think they might go for???

Both MK 1's look to be nice examples, not sure the LHD ex Japanese car will fetch £65k despite it's low miles. The GR Clubbie is the pick of the MK 1 bunch, a strong colour, Clubsport spec, lowish miles, I think it should make close to the £65k.Yes there are loads in the classifieds at £60-100k, but not many are selling.

The market for them is weak currently though, so all bets are off from my perspective.

I can see the MK1 CS making £67-72k and up at a dealer at £80k!The market for them is weak currently though, so all bets are off from my perspective.

Jap Import - £50k
Red - 55k
Mk2 - 55k
I think that's about right. From the pics of the red CS, the drivers side door to wing gap looks a bit off and the MOT history is a bit inconsistent too. I intend to go down on the Friday to look at a couple of cars and decide if any are worth bidding on.Red - 55k
Mk2 - 55k
Red MK1 sold for £62,500 plus fees. Estimate - Range: 55000 - 65000
Manthey sold for £56,800 plus fees. Estimate - Range: 60000 - 65000
