Yep the opf cars with the slower throttle response, less mpg with a ECU that ****s about with timing for regeneration as the opf need to try and run 700oc to avoid blocking up ! ]
.2 engines for the win I am afraid no Ecu dicking about and faster pick up, even more so in the manual cars with less parasitic losses to the wheels.
AP has been telling stories since i first met him, when he poo poed the 993gt2,but he does have knowledgable experience unlike R.

I did 3k miles in a 991.2GT3 and have over 2k in my RS WP and assure you nothing you've said makes sense. The RS WP spins faster, is at least as economical and the ECU doesn't dick about like you claim. .2 engines for the win I am afraid no Ecu dicking about and faster pick up, even more so in the manual cars with less parasitic losses to the wheels.
Then again what do i know as an owner of both cars!!.
Have you ever driven an RS WP or even sat in one out of interest to form such a detailed opinion.
I agree with Yellow491 in the RS WP is probably one of the best cars Porsche has ever made and i've owned a few.
Last time I looked at the thread title it said 996GT3 FS, not 911R’ s opinions on cars which are to a large degree pretty irrelevant to this thread. Oh wait, he hasn’t said anything about the cars for sale needing a £15k refresh and that the gearing is st...

They look like bi-xenons to me
I couldn't see the little silver headlamp washer cover on the headlamp unit. Could be wrong of course.https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/996/234306-wha...
Though they look the same, the 996.2 headlamps were available in xenon or halogen (projector) format. No washers necessary in the halogens.

I assume it will be give or take £110k ???18k less miles than the CC car (that was around £96k), wonder if it has been serviced in the last 3 years (only done 1,000 miles in that time)

Two years and 200 miles so presumably bought as an investment. What a shame. It must have been two years ago I met a chap at the Lindner in Nurburg who was still using his de-stickered 996 GT3 RS on Touristfahrten. https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/events/2018-au...
A true enthusiast.
