996 GT2 rear arch stone guards....?

Did the GT2 have film arch protectors? My car has some aftermarket protective film to the front bumper, front wings and rear arches etc which I'm not keen on although there's no doubting its effectiveness. I was going to remove it and replace with OEM rear arch stone guard film. But I'm now wondering whether this was actually fitted as I can't find it listed on the parts diagram for the car?

No, they were never fitted from new.
