Toddler seat for 911 (996)
Discussion
Apologies to ask this again but the majority of threads I could find referred to older models child seats rather than what's available today.
So what's the current prefered high-backed booster (stage 2 seat) for the 996? My daughter is 3 years old and over 15kg. From my research my current favourite is the Recaro Monza Nova 2 with safefix (so I can fit it to my daily) but all mentions of this seat fitting refer to the first revision. Has anyone tried the 2?
If it helps anyone else looking, I've got the much recommended stage 1 Besafe izi comfort 3 in there at the moment and even with the seat bottom removed it's not a great fit. It's far too high, it's too upright so her head falls forward if she falls asleep and I'm woried about it scratching the plastics on the C pillar.
Thanks for any advice anyone can offer.

I've got the britax kid plus in mine. Fits perfectly and also has a good safety score in the Which rankings. It is the same seat as the porsche junior plus, other than not having the airbag deactivation buckle.
I got mine from Amazon for about £80. Sometimes comes up there under their German brand Romer (Romer Kid Plus).
Note that it has to be the plus, which allows you to change the width to fit properly.

I (like many) am a veteran of child seats and in particular for fitting in the rear of 911s.
I have newer Porsche seats but the ones I like the most are the ones in the pic below, I currently have two of them in the back of my 997 and I'm thinking of selling one of them since my 6 year old is getting a bit big for it.
These seats used without the front pad are excellent, they fit really well into the rear seat area, the seat belt locates well at the shoulder level (adjustable height) and the guides at the hip level are good and easy to locate properly. My 3 yo sits in the other one and travelled all round Europe in it without a murmur.
If you would like to buy my spare one give me a PM
Some good pics here in the back of a 996 (not my car or pics)
