Yes it needs a front end freshen up for stonechips if the buyer wants to park it in a field and look at it. I was going to enjoy it for a few years before I get fussy with it.

If it's the car I'm thinking of, it was a bit leggy on the miles compared with the others on the market at the same time. It had been used properly, and upgraded with KW's, it had also lived in Scotland for a large proportion of its life, so the underside had suffered from the vast amounts of sodium chloride they like to cover the roads in north of the border.
If it wasn't that car, it could have been the example that had a Manthey K410 kit engine upgrade and got stacked @ the 'Ring and was then repaired properly by Manthey albeit at great cost.

Hi Henry, it was probably the first one you mention, although it was years ago now. I just remember that being as low as they got.

Anyone know why loads have come and gone for sale but this one has sat unsold for what must be years now? Good colour, great mileage, decent history supposedly.
Fair enough it has chairs but that's easily remedied.

Ah it’s ok Henry. I’m not after it, just curious as to why it has been for sale since I bought mine in 2019.

Despite it never dropping in price much it now looks cheap in today’s market.
Equally I wouldn’t want to cast any doubt over it if it’s a good car, but there must be a reason why nobody has bought it after all this time.
It appears to tick a lot of boxes.

sorry only just seen this post. yes, my old car - bought in 2007 for £60k and sold after 3 years, 12k miles and many trackdays for circa £47k - prior my ownership it was rubbed along the barriers at Hohe Acht/Wipperman complex, repaired by Manthey so that no one would have been any wiser and had the K410 kit fitted during said repair. It was actually a really decent example, properly set up and fast. the reason it was a bugger to sell was because it was a no a/c car which no one at the time wanted (understandably). no idea where the car is now, but i'd happily buy it back. part-ex'd at the time for a gen 1 997 3.6 GT3 RS which wasn't as fast or fun to drive, just a lot more civilised.
