Found a couple of pics from a 2008 trip to the ring, i wasn’t a porsche owner back then, but came across a group in a services in france. Anyone here know these cars/group back then? ( i know it may be 996.1 GT3).
Looking back, the air cooled cars in the background would have been way cooler, but i was young and didn’t have a clue back thenlaugh

I know at least one of those cars from the plate. I can guess whose the others were. It may well be that it was a group from the 911uk forum.

That was a very early 911uk Ring trip, you can see Sundeep's yellow MKII GT3. I'm parked out of picture somewhere.

Went the year before to the Manthey Day with a group form 911UK, just checked out the thread seems half the attendees are now banned by 911UK biggrin

Heavens! What an absolute beauty. PCCB's too, which is rare on 996.

I don't know the car, but it's just about perfect for anyone after a touring, rather than Clubsport spec.

The front rotors hole pattern looks odd and not like PCCB, ST perhaps?

So good news for any prospective buyer - much better than OEM gen 1 PCCB's.

Yep, no boxing the ST's up and leaving them to gather cobwebs in the loft.
