I would agreee that high spec cars have dropped down to around £130k. Not sure they are actually selling mind as there still seems to be plenty of the same cars advertised.
I've just sold my high spec car (clubsport, PCCB etc) for much more than 130k.
Do you make this stuff up?

if you pay more than £135k for a car with buckets, lift and PCCB's then you have made a mistake.

these cars are selling well imo at £135k as the whole market is slow. the lower spec cars are just stuck as they are not dropping now the high spec cars have dropped.

If you got more than £135k then you are laughing so well done on the sale.

I have not seen a high spec car under £134,995k though, but 3 or 4 have sold quite quick at that with the above spec now, which makes the poor specs cars just stuck for months and now 10k over priced.

Not being funny but you're an armchair pundit talking prices down and you are telling people who actually put their hard earned cash down that they don't know what they are doing.

You're pontificating about the market and I've just put a cold market fact in front of you. Deny it all you like if it makes you feel better. But you're calling it wrongly in my experience.

Also, you e gone from saying the price is 130 to 135 ... Lol

why are you laughing, I did not say £130k !!!

go re read it, and we can agree to disagree, I have been watching the GT3 market from day one, what cars are for sale, what cars are selling ok.

what did you sell your car for, that is a hard fact if you post the price.

As I say £135k IS the price for a high spec car atm and if some one pays over then they have over paid.

Why not just admit you don't know what you're talking about?

Watching adverts online is not the same thing as being an active participant in the market.

One day maybe the price will come to you, good luck.

Daft comments on if some one can afford a car or not if you don't know some one.

What price did you sell your car for ?

That is the only real fact which can be gained from you and I having this chat.
If you don't post that it's all bullst.

I wouldnt get too excited by the 991 market supposedly starting to tank as it will have a knock on effect on the GT4 residuals

Selling prices is still £20k over list for a 2 year old car it not tanked has it !

No one is talking down prises as people who shop at top555. Romans, Tom Hartley Don,t read stupid posts on PH :-)
All we are commenting on is cars for sale and which cars have sold.

I await Andrews selling price to be posted.

It was up for 142k. I got close to that. And it didn't even have lift.
You're wasting your precious life staring at the internet imaging cars are overpriced at 135.
Unless you are actually participating in this market, you're the one talking BS.
As I said, I hope prices come to you one day. Whether you can afford at price X or Y is not what I said, and I couldn't care less what you can afford.

but you state if prices come to me ! which means you think I cannot afford one !
I am in the market as if I don't get on with my GT4 I'll prob buy a 991 Turbo S or a GT3, but a 12C is calling me a bit more, so have been talking to dealers about prices.
I might love the GT4 though, so time will tell.

Top555 are my local dealer I see what comes in and what sells, a very nice high spec one sold last week for £135k and they now have another in at £135k with lift and PCCB, and leather. they state lift a must have for resale and the last 2 cars they have sold have been £135k and all the bits inc lift :-)

S0 if you got >£140k you have done bloody well when you can buy the grey car last week from top555 for £135k and today you can buy the white one with Lift and PCCB and full leather for £135k , well less as there is always a haggle :-)

your buyer over paid, it's that simple it seems.

a link the the grey one which sold last week at less than £135k and also had PCCB and lift

I do not follow the market on my 991GT3. But if I put it up for sale it would go up for 135k. Its comfy spec , but a god one , lift, full leather etc etc , 3500 miles and a pristine example, with no wheel rubs.

Also, has anyone had higher insurance quotations when renewing for there 991GT3. Porsche insurance wanted to rush me another £500. Ended up going with Direct Line.

Must say they are looking value today when you look at how much a new C2S or 488 is. I think at around £140k for an OPC car with 2 years warranty they are bang on the money and shouldn't really be dropping anymore for a year or 2. There's always going to be the one example at 10k less for whatever reason. I also reckon the next GT3 will see an above standard price increase.

Depends what you call value, it's a 2 year old car at £20k over list .

When the 991.2 gt3 comes out it won't look like value then.

They just seem worth a punt now they have dropped from £165k if you wanted one and could make £30k on a gt4 to cover the gt3 future drop.

Not all 2yrs old? And, even at 2yrs old - with low-milage and 2-yrs warranty I don't think you can really call them 'used'.

And like I said - for the next year or 2 (till the gen2 comes out) they won't drop anymore. It's still a current model and you can't go into your OPC and order one. They were £20k underpriced at list.

And so it will sit for sale like all these cars which are over priced.
Point ?

Andrew did you sell it privately or through a dealer?

Be interested to know how you sold it and what car it was. If you actually got £142k in your back pocket well done.

A lot of dealers would love an offer of £142k in today's market!
