This, of course is the only way to think about it (or any purchase for that matter), particularly if likelihood of getting on the list for a new car is so improbable.
I'm not looking at any car at the moment, I just picked the yellow one at random.
That yellow one is an anomaly in terms of pricing!I'm not looking at any car at the moment, I just picked the yellow one at random.

^^^ How many new 911's have you owned? This may have an impact on your ability to get on the list to purchase a new Gen 2 GT3 hence may limit your choices. As for the rest of it, who knows, a crystal ball may help.
I just bought my first a few weeks back. Called OPC to put a deposit down but they said they have changed policy on GT cars, and cannot reserve anything until it has been announced officiallyJiggyJaggy said:
There seem to be no PTS GT3's available. Would love to see one in the flesh. Any one with pics of theirs?
This is the car referred to abovehttp://www.jzmporsche.com/used-vehicle-details/Por...
Really rather nice!
These two Instagram accounts have loads of PTS cars although mostly R's and RS's

Also there are endless threads on Rennlist of PTS like this one https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-gt3rs-and-911r...

Thanks so much for putting those links up, exactly what I was looking for, albeit it's making me want one more when I was trying to buy a more sensible car!
Yup, I think PTS is great...really adds something to the car. If my hoped for GT3 does materialise as I have been told I would be desperate to get PTS if I could! Mrs Cheib is picking up a Ruby Star Boxster in Sep....not a GT3 and not a colour a bloke would go for on that car but it'll look great.
